Empowering Lives, Transforming Communities!

At Cried Foundation, our mission is to empower and transform the lives of the most vulnerable members of our society. We are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, promoting gender equality, and fostering holistic development for orphans, widows, the needy, and destitute individuals in Kashmir. Through our comprehensive programs and initiatives, we aim to create a society where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and lead a dignified life.

Our Vision: To uplift and empower the poor, needy, and widows by providing them with essential support and opportunities for a better future.

Our Mission: A Section 8 company dedicated to addressing the specific needs of the poor, needy, and widows in our community. Through a range of sustainable and impactful initiatives, we strive to create a supportive environment that enables them to break free from the cycle of poverty, enhance their livelihoods, and lead fulfilling lives.

OBJECTIVES

Provide Basic Needs: We are committed to ensuring that every individual in need has access to essential requirements such as food, clothing, shelter, and healthcare. By collaborating with friends, relatives and well-wishers; local partners and stakeholders, we aim to create comprehensive support systems that address immediate needs and foster long-term stability.

Education and Skill Development: We believe that education and skill development are crucial for the holistic development of the poor, needy, and widows. We strive to offer support and financial assistance for quality educational opportunities and vocational training programs that empower them to acquire new skills, enhance their employability, and secure a sustainable livelihood.

Empowerment and Advocacy: Our organization is dedicated to empowering the poor, needy, and widows by promoting their rights and advocating for their well-being. We aim to raise awareness about their challenges and work towards removing barriers that hinder their access to essential resources, opportunities, and social support.

Socioeconomic Integration: We endeavor to facilitate the socioeconomic integration of the poor, needy, and widows into mainstream society. By promoting entrepreneurship, fostering economic initiatives, and creating pathways for income generation, we aim to enhance their self-sufficiency and enable them to contribute positively to their communities.

Emotional and Social Support: We recognize the importance of providing emotional and social support to the poor, needy, and widows, who often face isolation and stigmatization. Through counseling services, support groups, and community engagement programs, we aim to create a nurturing environment that promotes mental well-being, fosters social connections, and builds resilience. This is planned through internees and volunteers - via visits, telephonic conversation/s, and online - audio calls, video calls and others

Collaborative Partnerships: We understand that addressing the needs of the poor, needy, and widows requires a collective effort. We are keen and committed to forging partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, corporations, and individuals who share our vision and are dedicated to making a positive impact. By leveraging synergies and pooling resources, we aim to maximize our reach and effectiveness.

Community Engagement: We believe in the power of community engagement and collaboration. We will foster partnerships with local communities, NGOs, government agencies, and corporate entities to mobilize resources, leverage expertise, and create a supportive network that fosters the integration, inclusion, and well-being of the poor, needy, and widows.

Impact Measurement and Transparency: We are committed to ensuring accountability and transparency in our operations. We implement rigorous monitoring and evaluation systems to measure the impact of our programs and are committed to communicating our results to all our stakeholders, donors, and the wider community. Together, we envision a society where poverty is alleviated, the needy receive the necessary support, and widows are empowered to rebuild their lives. Join us on this transformative journey as we strive to make a lasting and positive difference in the lives of the poor, needy, and widows.

Women Empowerment: Conduct vocational training programs and workshops to enhance the skills and employability of women. Advocate for women's rights, gender equality, and access to education and healthcare services. Establish support groups and networks to promote women's empowerment and social inclusion.

Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation: Provide immediate relief and support to those affected by natural disasters, such as floods, earthquakes, or landslides. Collaborate with local authorities and organizations to ensure efficient distribution of essential supplies, temporary shelter, and medical assistance. Assist in the long-term rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts to help affected communities rebuild their lives.
